Thanks to donations from people who support our work and support from the United Way, we can keep our fees low.  We ask clients to pay a nominal fee of $25 for regular in-person counseling of $25. ($25 Financial Counseling Appointment) For information about fees, visit Debt Management Plans.

The FISC Advantage

FISC is more than just an 800 number or a Web site. Our experienced counselors can meet with you face-to-face. They live and work in the communities they serve and are familiar with many local resources. As a program of Goodwill that receives United Way support in many communities, we are part of the communities we serve. Our Accreditations and Certifications are another indication of our professionalism and commitment to serving you.

For example, FISC served on a task force addressing foreclosures in the Fox Cities. The task force created a brochure to help people identify and handle nearby abandoned houses in their area. Getting Started

Talking with a counselor is like talking with a caring, understanding friend. Your counselor will listen and ask a few questions so he or she can understand your situation.
